  30. unyielding.  As an image, the creative force of heaven and the willing receptiv-
  31. ity of earth move in opposite directions; never mixing together, they gradually
  32. come apart.  In astral terms, 'Inertia' denotes the active control of the common
  33. people (the inner planets) by warriors, officials, and the aristocracy (Mars,
  34. Jupiter, and Saturn).  P'i describes an unbreachable wall between social
  35. castes, leading to the departure of the superior and the good, and the
  36. approach of the inferior and the base.
