BETA notes:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for downloading WFM. The program in it's current state is
only a BETA version. You nor I can expect it to completely work correctly.
I can't gaurantee ANYTHING AT ALL. I try to only upload versions that I
haven't found any bugs in, that doesn't mean there isn't any. At this time
I ask for no money (most people aren't going to pay for a BETA version),
but I do ask one thing. That is to let me know what you think of this
program, any bugs you've found, any ideas, any reason that relates to this
program is fine.
Please don't expect every feature to work. Some things are still in the
making. Most of the general things like copy, move, and delete all work
fine as far as I haved tried them. Some things work, but they may not have
information windows yet. Some things might seem to work, but they MAY not.
I'm not trying to implement that there is hundred things wrong here, I just
want you to be aware things might not work. I need to know of these things
too, in order to correct them. So do you part and get a hold of me, please
read below.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reaching the programmer:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not going to give out my address just yet. For the time being you
can call me at (510) 455-0425. If you are unwilling to pay the phone bill,
I'll happily give you a call back and take the phone charges. (Please don't
make collect calls though!)
I can also be found on some Bay Ares BBS systems. My name is Matthew
Ayres (in case you forgot to read the first page) and my handle is (usually)
White Fang. Feel free to E-Mail or page me for chat if you see that I am
on a BBS system.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installation:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At this time, there is none. There is only ONE file that you need. All
the configuration information is stored within WFM.EXE.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Instructions:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since WFM is constantly changing I'm not going to write this sections
out just yet. Another thing, WFM is going to have online help soon anyhow.
Most of the program is self explantory. Feel free to browse around and try
different things. No serious problems should occur, but if they do, I
hereby declare that I am not responsible. Got it?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upcoming features:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Better support for archiving.
-Support for DWC, HYP, PAK, ZOO.
-Complete online help.
-Improved and lengthened documentation.
-Anything else nifty I can think of.
-Any good ideas someone else lets me know of.
I'm constantly upgrading and bug fixing WFM, so there will be a lot more
things to come before an official version comes out, and that will be, as
you could have guessed, v1.00.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Distribution:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Give this to everyone and anyone. Upload it anywhere. My thanks to those
who do.
I live California near the Bay Area, if this happens to get somewhere
that's 500 or more miles away, please let me know, I'm kind of interested how
far this can go.
