The crc for updated files will be different, but that's essentially what you
should find in this kit.
This kit contains materials to attach the Pegasus email package
(version 2.33) to the Waffle Bulletin Board System (version 1.65).
It is essentially an upgrade of the UDG.ZIP which accompanies that
version of Pegasus since the new version of Waffle will not work
with the old UDG.ZIP materials. Once installed correctly, your email
users will never need to know anything about your UDG - it normally
works transparently.
It was written and debugged (so far) on an internetwork of Novell
file servers all using one Waffle gateway workstation/modem/telephone line.
Without needing the additional expense of installing MHS, it is capable
of shifting outgoing UUCP mail and control files to a Waffle gateway
on a distant server. It is also able to deliver incoming mail from
Waffle to Netware users on distant servers.
Users are notified of incoming mail if they are logged in.
None of these materials are in the public domain. The documentation and
software are all Copyright (c) 1992 by Dr Ross Lazarus. Please read the
documentation files carefully and note the legal restrictions on the
distribution and use of these materials. Essentially this is free software
but please read the disclaimers and conditions which you accept if you use
it.
The documentation is in a file called UDG2.TXT which should print correctly
(on a non postscript printer) if you tell DOS to
print udg2.txt
assuming of course that you have a printer attached !
Please report any problems or bugs to me via email at
