  7. TO RUN THE DEMO FROM DOS
  8.         Go to the Sierra\TWDEMO directory and type "TWISTY" <ENTER>
  9.         To quit, type "Ctrl-Q"

  12. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  13.  
  14.     DOS:
  15.         386SX 16mhz, VGA or EGA  with 586000 bytes free (579k)
  16.         Hard Disk, 4.4 meg disk space.

  18. DIGITAL AUDIO PROBLEMS (Gaps or drop outs in the speech)
  19.  
  20.         All the audio is 11k or 22k 16-bit.  Large amounts of data
  21.         is required to be read off the disk and passed to the sound
  22.         card.  If you have problems with the sound breaking up
  23.         or having gaps during play there are a few things you can
  24.         change to optimize the performance.

  26.         DOS USERS:
  27.         Before installing, optimize/unfragment your hard disk.  A
  28.         fragmented hard disk can break the audio files into pieces
  29.         that can't be read fast enough by the system.

  31.         In the file "Resource.cfg" there is a line:
  32.                 AudioSize = 12k.
  33.         This is the audio buffering size.  You can increase this
  34.         number which will make the system read larger chunks of
  35.         audio at a time.  This should decrease the gaps or drop
  36.         outs.  However, by increasing this number the available
  37.         memory to run the game will decrease and the amount of
  38.         memory needed to run the Demo will increase.  Experiment
  39.         with various numbers to find what works best.
