Branon, Special Agent-in-Charge, FBI, Chicago Division, announced a federal jury convicted former First Ward Alderman Fred Roti of Chicago, on all counts of the indictment. Specifically, Roti was found guilty of racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, five counts of bribery & four counts of extortion. The trial began on 12-14-92, before Judge Marvin Aspen.
