I choose to take this day so I could spend the time enjoying the city of Salzburg and the beauty surrounding it. The people, though most German speaking, do speak some English and are charming and gracious. They, unlike other areas of Europe I have visited did not seem to have a general dislike for Americans, which made the site seeing trip of their city even more enjoyable. I lunched at Cafe Tomaselli on Alter Market. A story book type of cafe with sidewalk tables and a wonderful selection of fine Austrian foods to choose, not even looking at the most delectable pastries they offered.
