Cassette Cover Utility
Written by: Bret L. Reece
This Program produces audio cassette tape covers like the ones
that come with the cassettes that you buy. The difference is
that you specify exactly what is written on the tape cover. The
program will prompt you for the information to be included on the
endlable, the face, and the back of the cover. Up to ten covers
can be saved & then recalled under any covername and used again and
again. The covers can also be further edited after being retrieved
from the data file. These saved covers are stored in a file called
'Covers.dat'. When you save the first record, the program will
simply create the new data file. Likewise, when you delete the only
record in the file, the program will delete the data file.
I've seen a couple of other similar programs, but they didn't
allow for complete control of each line of the cover. For Example,
they prompted you for the info on Side A - Song #1, Song #2, etc.,
then on Side B - Song #1, Song #2, etc., then they put the info
down on the cover according to their own format. I hope that makes
sense. Anyway, you couldn't produce a cover like the example cover
that is resident upon execution (just choose Edit), with the line
'All Songs Written By ...'. Anyway, I've tried to give the user
as much control as is possible. The info on the face of the cover,
as well as on the message flap (back), is printed condensed, while
that on the EndLable (Nameplate) is not.
I hope you find this utility simple and convenient.
