Responibilities of a Node Sysop
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You, as a Sysop of a BBS which carries the SYSTERLink mail network, are
responsible for several things:
1) ALL users who use foul language be warned that their language is
unacceptable. Those users who continue to use foul language should be
removed from SYSTERLink conferences.
2) Must exchange mail which their Hub on a regular basis. If for some
reason their Hub is non-functioning for a period of time, the Sysop should
make arrangements with another Hub to exchange mail with that other Hub.
3) Must inform me, Robert Williams, or the person operating the Super Hub, of
any phone number changes. This is mainly so that the Super Hub operator
will be able to update the master list of all Nodes.

Responsibilities of a Hub, Regional Hub, and Mega Hub Sysop
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You, as a Sysop of a BBS which surves as a Hub, Regional Hub, or Mega Hub
for the SYSTERLink Mail Network, are responible for several things:
1) Since local users of your BBS will be accessing SYSTERLink Conferences,
you have all of the responsibilities of a Node Sysop.
2) Must inform the Sysops that exchange mail with your BBS of any expected
downtime; that is, when your BBS will be non-functional. Being a Sysop, I
am fully aware that not all downtime is expected.
3) Must exchange mail with your Regional Hub, Mega Hub, or Super Hub on a
daily basis.
4) Must maintain a list of all Nodes, Hubs, or Regional Hubs which
exchange mail with your BBS. This is so that, in the event that your BBS
shuts down, it will be possible to re-route their messages to other
boards.
5) Must carry ALL required conferences offered on SYSTERLink.
