  7. This program erases the dictionary of any disk and unallocates
  8. all data clusters.  It does not, however, destroy bad cluster
  9. marks.  In addition, the DOS device parameter block is listed,
  10. together with the boot record's volume label and serial number.
  11. The form of the command line is

  13.           ZAP  <device letter>
  14.  
  15. The user is warned if a hard disk is indicated.  In any case, the
  16. user is asked to confirm whether she really wants to zap the
  17. disk.  CHKDSK is invoked automatically to allow the user to
  18. confirm that the disk was really zapped properly.

  20.           BRECORD  <device letter>

  22. merely lists the boot record information.
