Features
--------
The ZModem Protocol Driver that we have developed includes many of the
features found in the DSZ ZModem Protocol Driver from Omen Technology.
There are some features, however, that are not included due to the fact
that Omen Technology charges a licensing fee for the "technology" used
in these extensions. For this reason we have not included such
"technology" so we may offer this protocol driver to you at no
additional cost.
You should find included in this ZIP archive, a copy of the PCBRZ.BAT
and PCBSZ.BAT files that will allow you to use this ZModem Driver with
your PCBoard BBS. In looking at these files you'll find them extremely
easy to setup and use. The two driver modules only require one
parameter, that being the file to be transferred or the path to be
transferred to.
You should be aware that this driver is a drop in replacement. You
simply need to copy the PCBRZ.BAT and PCBSZ.BAT files into the \PCB
directory along with the two executables. This should be all you need
to do to get the ZModem driver to work.
ZModem Send Module
------------------
The ZModem Send Module is contained in the ZMSEND.EXE file. This send
module includes the ability to send single files or a batch of files
using either 16-bit or 32-bit CRC checking.
The PCBSZ.BAT file:
@ECHO OFF
ZMSEND.EXE %3
ZModem Receive Module
---------------------
The ZModem Receive Module is contained in the ZMRECV.EXE file. This
receive module includes the ability to receive single file or batch
uploads using either 16-bit or 32-bit CRC checking.
The PCBRZ.BAT file:
@ECHO OFF
ZMRECV.EXE %3
