Msgedsq v2.2b Wide Beta release.
Copyright (c) 1993, John Dennis.
All rights reserved.
Read the broken.now file!!!
Ok, now that you've read that and complied with it's instructions, you
should be ok... :-) This version is NOT YET COMPLETE. Most of the
old functions are there (nearly all), but certainly not all (the ones
left out are the ones I considered the less important).
If you are new to this program, I suggest that you get an older version
(such as 2.1a) so you can check out the key assignments and the like.
The functionality is pretty much the same; it's the look and feel
that has changed :-)
The DOS and OS/2 versions have been released simultaneously as:
msq22b.lzh DOS Version
msqp22b.lzh OS/2 Version
The files will be first distributed (where possible) to these people:
Clay Tinsley 1:124/5125
Dallas Hinton 1:153/715
Brian Heess 1:102/851
Alex Wyss 2:301/802
Denis McMahon 2:251/20
They will announce in MSGED_ECHO and other areas (at their own discretion)
when they have it, and what names to request it as. It could be more
organized but this makes it easier for the people involved. They aren't
required to carry both DOS and OS/2 versions.
They are also available from my system (which is NOT a bbs), from
1am to 5am GMT +8 time. The system isn't up at other times so please
don't increase your phone bill needlessly. Request ABOUT for a magic
names available. Note that the Zone Mail Hour is at 2am to 3am GMT +8
time. Finally, quite a few overseas callers have trouble connecting
with my modem. So Beware :-)
To forestall these questions: No, the source hasn't been released, and
won't be until i'm ready to release a final version. This version has
been released because the last release was in July '92 and people are
getting (understandably) impatient :-)
You can contact me (John Dennis) at

You can also try the MSGED_ECHO and TUB international echomail areas.
Please attempt to use either netmail/MSGED_ECHO before using TUB. I will
reply when I have the time ;-)
Regards,
John Dennis. 5/1/1993
