  4. Welcome to Micah Math Verion 1.0.  We hope that you and your child enjoy and 
  5. benifit from Micah Math Ver 1.0.  Micah Math Ver 1.0 was written to help my 
  6. son with his addition and subtraction problems.  He is in first grade and he 
  7. just loves playing with the computer.  It was a natural combonation!
  8.  
  9. Math flash cards are nothing new to computers.  We are hoping that the 
  10. ability for Micah Math Ver 1.0 to speak will help keep your childs interest 
  11. long after the new wears off.

  13. System Requirements:

  15. MS DOS 5.0
  16. MS Windows 3.1
  17. 1 megabyte of free hard drive disk space.
  18. 386SX 16mhz or better.
  19.  
  20. System Recommendations:
  21.  
  22. 386DX 33mhz or better.
  23. Sound Card with external speakers.
  24. Windows compatible mouse.
  25.  
  26. Micah Math Version 1.0 doesn't have to have a sound card installed to work, 
  27. but without a sound card you will be unable to hear the 900,000+ bytes of 
  28. speech that makes what we think it the most interesting thing about Micah 
  29. Math Version 1.0.

  31. Installing Micah Math Version 1.0 from MICAHM.ZIP
  32.  
  33. Micah Math Version 1.0 comes with its own installation program, however since
  34. you have downloaded this program from a bullentin board you will need to
  35. create a installation floppy.  Here are the steps to create this floppy.

  37. Assumptions: (Your are using your B: 3.5 1.44 mb floppy drive)
  38.  
  39. PKUNZIP MICAHM.ZIP b:\
  40.  
  41. You will have to know where MICAHM.ZIP was placed when you uploaded it.
  42.  
  43. Assuming you didn't have any problems unzipping the files, you should have
  44. an installable floppy diskette now.
  45.  
  46. To install Micah Math Version 1.0 on your computer...
  47.  
  48. WIN
  49. from the Program Manager select File then Run.  Enter B:\SETUP.EXE.
