01/22/93 1.20 Whole word, prefix, suffix, and logical 'NOT' searches can
now be made on individual keywords; the /W (word/prefix/
suffix search) and /N (logical 'NOT' search) options, both
of which affected every keyword, have been removed.
'Fuzzy' searches can now be made on individual keywords; the
/F ('fuzzy' search) option, which affected every keyword,
now controls only the similarity percentage.
Keywords can now be shown in bold type onscreen.
Filespecs to be searched can now be read from a file list.
12/04/92 1.14 The ability to display only the filenames of successful
searches has been added, via the /M option.
An option to echo the command line as the first line of
output (/E) has been added.
Prefix and suffix search ability has been added, via the /W
option.
When using the /W option, words are now considered to be
made up of alphanumeric characters, instead of just alpha.
05/01/92 1.13 Adjustable 'fuzzy' search option added.
An option to stop searching after a specified number of
matches (/M) has been added.
The keyword separator character can now be changed with the
/K option.
The 'read from filter/pipe' switch has been changed to /R.
When more than 10 keywords were in a search string, the 10th
word was not being searched properly; fixed.
04/09/92 1.12 Added /F (filter/pipe mode) option.
02/27/92 1.11 Added /H (hidden files), /S (subdirectory search), and /W
(whole word search) options.
DOS errorlevels are now set for unsuccessful searches.
Ctrl-Break will now exit even if DOS break is not set.
When using the pause option, the top line would sometimes
scroll off of a full screen when the program ended; fixed.
Files not ending with a CR/LF would not display their last
line correctly; fixed.
01/01/92 1.10 Keywords within a search string are now separated with
semicolons, and at least one keyword from each search string
must be present in a searched line for it to be printed.
Added /C (case sensitive), /L (line number), /N (negative),
/P (pause), and /T (totals) options.
The full path and filename would be displayed whenever a
specific file was searched (without wildcards); fixed.
Invalid output would sometimes be produced when printing
lines with quotes and percent signs; fixed.
12/12/91 1.03 Filenames in a multiple file search are now displayed only
if the search was successful for that file.
11/14/91 1.02 Wildcards are now supported in the search filename.
Expanded limits to 10 search strings with 10 keywords each.
