  8.     The January, 1993 issue of The Hack Report initiates a rather
  9.     major change to the report.  With the exception of listings from
  10.     the Questionable Files, Information, Please, and the Meier/Morlan
  11.     List sections, none of the files listed in the December, 1992
  12.     issue are carried over to this issue.

  14.     To help readers who are seeing The Hack Report for the first time,
  15.     this month's archived file of The Hack Report contains two
  16.     additional files.  These files, HACK92FA.RPT and HACK92FA.IDX, are
  17.     the full December, 1992 report, along with an index file for the
  18.     1992 full report.  I strongly recommend that new readers take a
  19.     look at the HACK92FA.RPT file in addition to the current report.

  21.     If you are reading this and have been posting The Hack Report as a
  22.     bulletin on your BBS, or have been cross-posting the report in a
  23.     conference or network, first allow me to thank you for your
  24.     efforts over the past year, for without people like you, the
  25.     report would not exist.  Second, please note that it is _not
  26.     necessary_ to re-post the Full 1992 Report, since your users
  27.     and/or fellow network readers have already had to deal with the
  28.     space taken by it once.

  30.     I would also like to ask that all BBS operators please keep a copy
  31.     of the Full 1992 Archive (filename HACK92FA) available on their
  32.     boards, and that readers try and obtain a copy of this file.  You
  33.     will need it, since many files listed in it have been deleted from
  34.     the new year's report.  If you do not or no longer have a copy of
  35.     the Full 1992 Archive, please try and obtain one from one of the
  36.     official distribution sites listed in the FILE9301.SRC file.

  38.     Once again, thanks to all of the distributors and readers of the
  39.     report, from The HackWatchers and the folks around the house here
  40.     at Hack Central Station.  Without you, The Hack Report would not
  41.     exist.
