The Adventure System Version 2.9C is the long awaited update for sysops, users
and gamists. The concept of how to share this program and its source code made
Copyware a new name for part public domain and part shareware. The program and
all source code are placed into the public domain with the idea of sharing the
program, yet retaining the rights to the source code. Look at the notice above
the opening copyright screen.
The Adventure System Version 2.9C also boasts over 35,000 lines of source code
completely modularized, indented, gotoless, structured, organized, lowercased,
and verbose variable names. Please do not distribute modified versions of this
program.
The Adventure System Version 2.9C is also available for downloading, including
source code, instructions for editing and compiling, and several separate help
files. There are over 50 pages of user documentation detailing instructions to
each command, and online help in the sysop external editor.
The Adventure System Version 2.9C is fully configurable with over 100 options,
selections, and configurable game parameters. Configuration files can be saved
to disk. Further, the sysop, or dungeon master has complete control by editing
any monster, user, object, room, spell, etc. in the game.
