  3.    The following commercial programs are available to change the names by
  4. which TrueType fonts are represented on Windows 3.1 font menus and to modify
  5. the attributes used by Windows to group and categorize TrueType fonts.  All
  6. programs require DOS 3.1 or later and Windows 3.1.

  9. *                              WinRenTT/TTAlias                               *
  10. *                                                                             *
  11. * This is a package containing two Windows 3.1 programs for changing the      *
  12. * names by which TrueType fonts are identified on font menus in application   *
  13. * programs.  WinRenTT accomplishes this by altering the names specified in    *
  14. * the .TTF file; TTAlias achieves the same effect by modifying the .FOT file, *
  15. * leaving the .TTF file unaltered.  Both programs permit any number of fonts  *
  16. * to be processed in a single session.  WinRenTT is also capable of           *
  17. * installing fonts after the names have been altered, thus making unnecessary *
  18. * the extra step of using Control Panel for this purpose. -- Price:  $30.00   *

  23. * This is a Windows 3.1 program that allows you to view and, if you wish, to  *
  24. * modify the attributes of TrueType fonts that are relevant to the way        *
  25. * Windows groups fonts into a single family represented by a single entry on  *
  26. * font menus and selects fonts from the family on the basis of the style      *
  27. * (regular, bold, etc.) in which text is formatted. -- Price:  $20.00         *
