Sort Help dbLite can sort on any line you choose to configure your file and labels and reports as you would 01 like to see them. To try out a sort, select [Sort Labels] from the main menu then tell the program to sort on 02 Aaa line 1. As you can see, this reorders the way you view each label, making this label #1 03 Aab Now if you resort by line 5, it will return us to the original order of our labels. 04 Aac You can enter data in any order you wish and then perform sorts to reorder the files in several 05 Aad ways. You can make reports in alpha order and make your stickers in numerical order. Remember to 06 Aae left align anything you are going to sort on. Also be consistent with capitalization. Either CAP 07 Aaf everything or nothing or just the first letter but do it the same for each starting word on the line.08 Aag Also number your records in a consistent coumnar format, i.e. 001, 002, 0001, 0002 and so on, 09 Aah depending on how many records you intend on utiziling. If you will have up to 700 records then use 10 Aai 001, 002 and so on. Since this program only supports 720 or so records per file and can only sort 11 Aaj then 3 digits should be all you will ever need. Again, experiment and save your work. 12 Last Record
