  4. What is a Regional ?
  5.  
  6. Regional Co-ordinator is a bbs system which transfer mails to and
  7. from individual  nodes, Hosts and Zone Co-ordinator. So we expect
  8. that  there  will be  requests from  certain systems  to act as a
  9. Regional Co-ordinator  for their  own country.  If  their country
  10. has a large population, they may have more then one Regionals.

  14. Requirements for Regional Co-ordinator:-

  16. 1.   Regional Co-ordinators  must agree to  carry all conferences
  17.      in the network.  Exception  will only be  given by  the Zone
  18.      Co-ordinator.
  19.  
  20. 2.   Regional Co-ordinators must be able to ensure 24 hour service
  21.      with Front-End Mailer so that the mail moves smoothly.

  23. 3.   Regional Co-ordinators must transfer mails at least twice a
  24.      week.

  26. 4.   Regional Co-ordinators must be able to produce the nodelist of
  27.      their region.

  29. We  would  hope that Regionals would spread the  word  about  the 
  30. Network  - and bring others into it.   That would be one  of  the 
  31. prime purposes of a regional.
