  1. CRUNCH LEAGUE FOOTBALL v2.1 Quick Setup Instructions

  3. To install CLFB as a new chain on your BBS: 
  4.      1. Copy all the files found in CLFB21.ZIP into a subdirectory (i.e.
  5. FB.EXE, CLCNF.EXE, PLAYFB.EXE, UPGRADE.EXE, CLFB.CT, MAIN.CT, PNAMES.DAT,
  6. CLINTRO.TXT, FOOTBALL.TXT, CLFBSYSP.DOC, REGISTER.TXT, and READ.ME).
  7.      2. Run CLCNF and configure the game as you please.  Refer to
  8. CLFBSYSP.DOC for specifics.
  9.      3. Add a chain/door to your BBS: "FB.EXE <door info filename>."  For
  10. more information on how to specify the name of the information file, refer
  11. to your BBS documentation.  In WWIV, use "FB %1" and also be sure to
  12. specify that the BBS compress and NOT do i/o routines.  You may also need
  13. to add "FB.EXE <chain file> /L" as a second chain for local play.
  14.      4. Add the file PLAYFB.EXE to the daily event batch file of your BBS.  
  15.      5. Make the file "CT11.ZIP" available for download on your BBS.
  16.      6. Register!  Registration allows trading and gambling to add new
  17. dimensions to the action.  Just print out and complete REGISTER.TXT.

  19. To upgrade from an earlier version of CLFB than 2.0 (not nec. from 2.0):
  20.      1. Follow step #1 above.  Then run UPGRADE.EXE.
  21.      2. Edit the chain on your BBS as specified in step #3 above.
  22.      3. Follow steps #5 and #6 above.
