Instructions for
the WordPerfect 5.1
PARC OnScreen 1993 Calendar
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The macro for this 1993 OnScreen calendar
is contained in the files
ALTC.WPM
93-CAL1.WPM
93-CAL2.WPM
93-CAL3.WPM
For the macro to work properly, all four files must be copied
to your WordPerfect macros directory. This is the directory
specified in WordPerfect Setup [press Shift-F1 while WordPerfect
is running, then press L for Location of Files; the macros
directory is the directory named after Keyboard/Macro Files]
If you already have a macro called ALTC.WPM, you can rename the
ALTC macro to CAL.WPM or C.WPM or any other name. It will still
work. But if you change the names of any of the other macros,
you'll have to edit the code within each macro.
After you copy all the macros to your WordPerfect macros
directory and start WordPerfect, you can run the macro anytime.
Just hold down the ALT key and press the C key once.
If you renamed the ALTC.WPM file, press Alt-F10 (for macro)
then type the new name of the macro, then press Enter.
You will see an OnScreen calendar displaying every month of 1993
on three separate screens. Press any key to advance to the next
screen. Press Cancel [F1] to return to the editing screen.
This calendar macro is for WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS *only*
and will not work with version 5.0 or WordPerfect for Windows.
If you have any difficulty with the operation of the macro
please contact me c/o the OnScreen address or c/o Internet
patrick.burton@canrem.uucp
If you find the macro useful, a $5.00 donation to help PARC
continue to aid Toronto's psychiatric consumers/survivors
would be most welcome.
Happy 1993! -- P.B. Dec 15/92
