ISSUE:
This patch incorporates the following fixes:
============================================
1) The sender's name is now set to the SMF long name instead of
the
SMF short name.
2) PROFS message acknowlegement (.ak) requests are now correctly
handled.
Acknowledgements will only be sent to the PROFS user if so
requested by
the PROFS user. By default, Global MHS will create an
acknowledgement when
the message has been successfully delivered to the recipient's
mailbox. This
is the recommended option.
Optionally, the Global MHS adminstator can request that
acknowledgments are
returned to the sender only when the recipient has actually read
the message.
This option is activated by adding the following parameter to
the NGMPROFS
configuration data on the NGM.CFG file:
RECEIPT-NOTIFICATION-ON-READ=TRUE
NOTE: If using the above option, the application being used by
the recipient
must be fully SMF71 compliant and create receipt notifications
as documented
in the SMF71 Reference guide. Otherwise, acknowledgements will
not be sent
back to the PROFS sender.
3) If the sender's address (NDS user) is registered in the GMHS
database,
the PROFS protocol module will obtain the SYSTEM name from
the
extended address part. Otherwise, the sender is registered
in the auto
registration table & the short name for the SMF GATEWAY is
used as a
SYSTEM name.
