  17. LAT001.EXE is the first maintenance patch for NetWare for LAT 1.0.  It is
  18. recommended for all NetWare for LAT 1.0 sites.

  30. 1. If a user improperly exited an emulator, the server could abend. (this was
  31. rare, 1 out of 1,000+ times)
  32.  
  33. 2. The circuit dropped when there was a bridge between LAT Host and the 
  34. NetWare for LAT server. 
  35.  
  36. SOLUTION 
  37.  
  38. Install LAT001.EXE.
  39. NOTE: Even after the installation of this patch, bridging with the LAT
  40. protocol is not recommended.

  58. To Install:

  60. 1. Copy CMSPX.NLM to SYS:\SYSTEM on the NetWare for LAT server.
  61.       
  62. 2. At the NetWare for LAT server console, type: UNLOAD NWLAT  <enter>
  63.  
  64. 3. At the NetWare for LAT server console, type: CSDOWN   <enter>
  65.  
  66. 4. At NetWare for LAT server console, type: LOAD INSTALL  <enter>
  67.  
  68. 5. In INSTALL, select Product Installation.
  69.  
  70. 6. Hit the Insert Key.  
  71.  
  72. 7. Enter the path to the directory you unzipped LAT001's into.
  73. Note: this installation only adds patches to currently installed NetWare for
  74. LAT software.

  76. 8. Follow the online instructions.

  78. 9. After installation is complete, exit the install program.
  79.  
  80. 10. Down, Exit and Reboot server.

  82. 11. Patch installation is now complete.
