  11. INSTALLING THE ES3210 NETWARE 3.0 SERVER DRIVER - ES3210.LAN
  12.  
  13. 1) Copy the RII0101.CFG configuration file into the configuration
  14.    directory on your EISA computer. A detailed procedure is included
  15.    in the ES3210 Installation Manual(950-1278-00 AA). A summary 
  16.    follows:
  17.  
  18.        a) Copy A:!RII0101.CFG C:\<directory name>
  19.        b) Change to configuration utility directory with CD command.
  20.        c) Type: CF <RET>  - where <RET> means ENTER key.
  21.        d) When the utility is up it will display all the cards installed 
  22.           in your EISA machine. Select the slot with the words Racal 
  23.           InterLAN ES3210 Ethernet Controller.
  24.        e) Type: CTRL-D to enter change mode.
  25.        f) Press ENTER when the cursor is at the parameter to be changed.
  26.        g) Remember the slot the card was installed in if there is more
  27.           than one ES3210. This will be needed later when loading the 
  28.           drivers. 
  29.        h) When finished configuring save the configuration and exit the
  30.           configuration utility.

  32. 2) Bring up the file server.
  33.  
  34. 3) When the : appears type: 
  35.  
  36.         LOAD <directory name>ES3210.LAN <RET> 
  37.  
  38.     where <directory name> is the directory name where the *.LAN files are 
  39.     kept, i.e. C:\NW386\. <RET> stands for the ENTER key.
  40.  
  41. 4) You will be prompted for interrupt value, DMA channel and I/O 
  42.    base address.( Remember those things you were told to write down
  43.    in step 1 above?).

  45. 5) Finally you must bind the driver to a protocol by typing:
  46.  
  47.        BIND ES3210 TO <protocol> <RET>
  48.  
  49.     where <protocol> will usually be IPX and <RET> is again the enter
  50.     key.
  51.  
  52. 6) You will be prompted to enter a network number. Enter a number and
  53.    the server is ready to communicate with workstations.
