Installation
Copy AIOTERM.NLM to the System directory on your Novell file
server.
ex. c:\>COPY AIOTERM.NLM Z:\SYSTEM
From the console prompt type: LOAD AIOTERM
press enter. The first screen shows all of the AIO compliant
drivers that are currently loaded. If you don't see any listed,
then you need to exit and load one. On this screen you're
prompted for the hardware type, board number, and port number
(just as you would have provided in the gateway setup) of the
port you want to open. If it responds with an error, then that
port couldn't be opened, otherwise you will see the next screen.
Selecting option #1 will take you into a "Dumb Terminal Mode".
From there you can enter AT commands to be sent to your modem.
This utility is currently hard-coded to 9600 bps, 8 data bits, 1
stop bit, and no parity, which should be sufficient to determine
if you're talking to the modem or not. Pressing <Esc> will back
you out, one screen at a time, until you are returned to the
console prompt.
