  12. The AIOTERM.NLM utility is a "dumb terminal" utility similar to
  13. the TESTCOMM utility that ships with the DOS version of the
  14. GroupWise Async Gateway.  It is provided here for your use to
  15. help diagnose problems with initializing modems that may be used
  16. with the GroupWise NLM Async Gateway.

  38. This is a troubleshooting utility for the GroupWise Async NLM
  39. Gateway.

  53. This utility is not supported by Novell Inc.  You accept the

  65.  Copy AIOTERM.NLM to the System directory on your Novell file
  66. server.
  67.  
  68.  ex.  c:\>COPY AIOTERM.NLM Z:\SYSTEM
  69.  
  70.  From the console prompt type:  LOAD AIOTERM
  71.  
  72.  press enter.  The first screen shows all of the AIO compliant
  73. drivers that are currently loaded.  If you don't see any listed,
  74. then you need to exit and load one.  On this screen you're
  75. prompted for the hardware type, board number, and port number
  76. (just as you would have provided in the gateway setup) of the
  77. port you want to open.  If it responds with an error, then that
  78. port couldn't be opened, otherwise you will see the next screen.

  80.  Selecting option #1 will take you into a "Dumb Terminal Mode".
  81. From there you can enter AT commands to be sent to your modem. 
  82. This utility is currently hard-coded to 9600 bps, 8 data bits, 1
  83. stop bit, and no parity, which should be sufficient to determine
  84. if you're talking to the modem or not.  Pressing <Esc> will back
  85. you out, one screen at a time, until you are returned to the
  86. console prompt.
