  4. The Europe Hotel is one of the best hotels in 
  5. Petersburg. The comfortable hotel lavishly 
  6. decorated in the eclectic style was erected on 
  7. the site of the former G.Kleie hotel and a 
  8. rooming-house. The new interiors in the 
  9. Art-Nouveau style were performed in 1905 to a 
  10. design by K.McKensen and in 1908-14-to those 
  11. by Lidval. In 1908 the Fifth story was added, 
  12. where in 1910 the famous Roof restaurant was 
  13. opened, with a summer hall and a garden. In 
  14. 1988-91 the hotel was fully reconstructed to 
  15. meet the modern requirements.
