  7. Articles appear regularly in this newsgroup reviewing the status
  8. of a number of UNIX standards activities.

  10. The Usenix members' newsletter, ;login:, has a monthly section on this
  11. stuff.

  13. Jim Isaak at Digital has a monthly "Open Systems Tracking Report"
  14. that gives information like this, too.

  16. IEEE Computer has a periodic column on standards that includes the
  17. POSIX work.

  19. Sun Expert has a regular standards column by Peter H. Salus.
  20.  
  21. There are a number of existing POSIX standards available from the IEEE
  22. and ISO.  (I believe these are also Australian National Standards.)

  24. John Quarterman and Susanne Wilhelm have a lovely book out on the
  25. general topic, published by Addison-Wesley.

  27. UniForum has a fine "POSIX Explored" series.
