  3. Call For Applicants: USENIX Standards Reports Editor

  5. For the past few years, Stephe Walli has been USENIX Standards 
  6. Reports Editor.  He wants to step down, so the Association is
  7. seeking a replacement.
  8.  
  9. The job requires going to four POSIX meetings a year, writing
  10. quarterly editorials, and soliciting and editing reports from a
  11. string of ``snitches'' in individual standards groups.  Good email 
  12. access is a must.
  13.  
  14. There is a nominal stipend to defray costs, plus four, usually 
  15. highly entertaining dinners a year.  Hosting the dinners is part 
  16. of the job, too.

  18. If you're interested, send email by Friday, February 5, to
  19. jsh@usenix.org.  Anyone can apply, and the final
  20. choice will be made by the USENIX Association.

  22. Please include a 5-page writing sample.  It should go unsaid, 
  23. but won't, that spelling and neatness count.
