- Yes this is, as yet, a tricky problem, (we too, will watch for
- responses to Glenns news;-), but a casual reader could be forgiven
- for thinking that Glenn's article was suggesting that X/Open's
- long standing branding programme for Components and Profiles is at
- risk: This is NOT the case.

- At the risk of "Teaching my Granny to suck eggs" I just want to
- make sure that no-one confuses the verification of APPLICATIONS
- with the verification of the platforms, (or pieces of them) that
- SUPPORT applications. X/Open's branding program for these has
- never been stronger or more active: already there are nearly a
- hundred XPG3 Base systems, and over 500 XPG3 components
- branded and available, and watch the news for XPG4!
