- Shared libraries, done right, are invisible to the user and hence do
- not need standardizing.

- Shared memory is one of the innumerable goodies that POSIX.4 is designing,
- er excuse me I mean standardizing. Opinions about POSIX.4 vary.

- I'm not aware of anyone working on standards for dynamic linking/loading.
- Frankly, my opinion would be that we're nowhere near understanding it
- well enough to standardize it. (Although that hasn't stopped some
- people in other areas...)
