- [sigh] I am arguing against ducks in all forms, whether or not you've
- tied their bills so that they can't quack.
-
- *WHY* is POSIX planning to move ``more and more facilities into the file
- system name space''? *WHAT* gives POSIX committee members the delusion
- that they can do a good job of this, given the history of incredibly
- poor technical inventions made by standards committees throughout the
- history of computing? *WHO* has the experience implementing and working
- with these features in a UNIX environment? *WHERE* are the popular UNIX
- systems which implement the uniform namespace features that POSIX wants
- to standardize?
