- It's not widely implemented inside MIT either. Palladium Version 1
- (c. 1989) was too broken to use. The print software currently used by
- Athena is Berkeley lpr with optional Kerberos authentication and print
- quotas added. As far as I know, MIT's plans for the new version of
- Palladium are limited to delivering a product to the OSF.

- (The extent of my involvement with Palladium is that I tried to use it
- during testing 2 years ago. I found it a very effective tool for
- paper conservation, but that's more of a comment on implementation
- than design.)
