  5. Would someone who knows please tell me the relationship between the
  6. Standard C macro FILENAME_MAX and the POSIX macro _POSIX_PATH_MAX.

  8. In particular, should they be the same, or should FILENAME_MAX
  9. correspond instead to _POSIX_NAME_MAX.
  10.  
  11. I ask because HP-UX has FILENAME_MAX set to 14 and we think this is wrong.
