  14. That's true, but Hewlett-Packard was way ahead in releasing an
  15. internationalized version of UNIX.  I believe that they proposed
  16. it as a standard to POSIX.  It's definitely looking at what HP
  17. did in this area....

  19. I also seem to recall that X/Open has a proposal in this area.
