  6. Could readers of this groups suggest a source of introductory information
  7. related to the posix standard.  I know basically what posix is and its
  8. purpose.  For staters a list of the different "portions" of the 1003 standard
  9. would be helpful (ie, 1003.x).  also is there a place i can get copies of
  10. these documents at little or no cost?
