- Is anything being done to suggest an alternative to the group protection
- mechanism in Unix? Something to make it more powerful along the lines of
- TOPS-20 directory permissions.

- 1. Permit users to define their own groups.

- 2. Exclude users from groups that they create.

- 3. Permit users to attach groups that they define to system objects that they
- own (most likely files, but perhaps things like TTYs, database tables, etc.).

- What do people think of the idea?
