  1. I've been getting questions about how to get copies of P1003.D6,
  2. so here are the directions once again.
  3.  
  4. Balloting on Draft 6 as the Trial Use Standard just completed
  5. and resolution of the ballots will continue at least through the
  6. P1003 meeting in Denver just before the Denver USENIX this month.

  9. An online document which "represents" P1003 Draft 6 is on sally.UTEXAS.EDU
  10. for retrieval by anonymous ftp (connect with ftp, log in as anonymous
  11. with password guest) over the ARPA Internet.  The files are:

  19. P1003.D6 is a tar archive of the source for the document.
  20. P1003.D6.doc is an nroff formatted copy of the document, suitable
  21.     for printing on a line printer (contains form feeds and backspaces).
  22. P1003.D6.Z and P1003.D6.doc.Z are compressed copies of the above files.
  23. They were compressed with compress version 4, a public domain program
  24. which has been distributed over newsgroup net.sources on USENET.
  25. There is a copy on sally.UTEXAS.EDU in ~ftp/pub/compress.shar.

  27. P1003.D6.run is a replacement for the run script in the archive,
  28. which was for local use on decvax.  You will still need to adapt
  29. it to your printer if it's not an ln01.

  31. The list of hosts which previously made Draft 5 available are
  32. sally.UTEXAS.EDU, as above; on UUCP:  ut-sally (contact ut-sally!jsq),
  33. decvax (contact decvax!jmcg), l5, seismo, ucbvax, munnari, and enea.
  34. Presumably they will all pick up at least the compressed files.

  36. Those of you who have asked for copies by UUCP mail:  I've found
  37. a method; please contact me again if you're still interested.
  38. If you're on the ARPA Internet you should use ftp.
