Family Album Maker
1) Data associated with albums you create in Family Album Maker is
saved in the Access database file photo_op.mdb. This is also the
database that references the location of pictures, flags, and maps
of the World Photo Studio. If you reinstall the program, save your
photo_op.mdb file! Installing a new photo_op.mdb will destroy all
of your albums! Back up this file to a floppy disk in order to
preserve your work.
2) Family Album Maker stores links to graphics files in the above
database. A second copy of the picture is not saved for use in the
album. When you move photos to other directories the link to those
photos will be lost.
3) Family Album Maker has a limit of 20 pictures and 20 text boxes
per album.
4) When printing Albums allow the print job to complete before
proceeding with using your computer. Printing graphics resources
on PC's with 16MB or less of memory requires uninteruppted use
of system resources.
5) Windows 3.1 uses may notice performance improvement by increasing
their Windows swap file to approximately 20MB in size.
6) Some images in the World Photo Studio are large JPEGS,
particlularly the maps. Use a minimum number of pictures on a
page with a large map. Doing so will minimize use of system
resources.
7) You can now delete a bacground template or a background
color on an album page by using the menu selection RESET available from
the Images menu.
