  4. Instructions on the GEN7 Desktop:
  5.  
  6. The file: GEN7G14.EXE contains the GEN7 Desktop without the data
  7.   sets to operate.  The data sets are as follows:
  8.  
  9.                                    Distribution    CompuServe
  10.      0. The GEN7 Desktop with File Manager.
  11.                                    GEN7G14.EXE   or G7G14.EXE
  12.           These programs run within the GEN7 GUI:
  13.      1. Children's Tutors          GEN7TD14.EXE  or G7TD14.EXE
  14.      2. Accountant Module          GEN7AD14.EXE  or G7AD14.EXE
  15.      3. Song DataBase              GEN7SD14.EXE  or G7SD14.EXE
  16.      4. Old Testament Bible Study  GEN7OD14.EXE  or G7OD14.EXE
  17.      5. New Testament Bible Study  GEN7ND14.EXE  or G7ND14.EXE

  19. The GEN7 Desktop program (0) is used with each of the others (1-5),
  20. but the data sets are different.  Each program should be in a
  21. separate directory.  Note that these are programs for evaluation,
  22. and run separately, so each directory should have the GEN7 Desktop
  23. program within it also.  Note also that it is possible to run the 
  24. programs with only one copy of GEN7 after the separate modules are 
  25. registered.  This approach was taken to minimize the amount of disk 
  26. space required to hold these data sets.

  28. To install these programs (if you do not have a distribution disk 
  29. with an install program on it), first copy GEN7G14.EXE and the 
  30. desired data set to the directory that will be their home.  Next
  31. type:

  33.         GEN7G14 or G7G14
  34.  
  35. followed by:
  36.  
  37.         GEN7??14 or G7??14
  38.  
  39. where the ?? is one of the two characters defined in the above
  40. list.  Answer yes to any questions about overwriting existing
  41. files.
