  9.     Ezri is sitting at a table, eating lunch and reading 
  10.     a PADD. Bashir ENTERS and pulls up short when he
  11.     sees her. They plaster those false, awkward smiles 
  12.     across their faces again.

  14.                     BASHIR
  15.             Hi.
  16.  
  17.                     EZRI
  18.             Hi.
  19.  
  20.                     BASHIR
  21.             Having lunch?
  22.  
  23.                     EZRI
  24.             It's that time.
  25.  
  26.     Bashir goes to the replicator and works the control, 
  27.     gets a plate of food out of the replicator and turns 
  28.     around -- there are plenty of open tables. He moves 
  29.     toward an empty table, pulls back the chair, then 
  30.     glances over at Ezri. Their eyes meet.

  32.                     BASHIR
  33.             This is ridiculous.
