  11.     After rummaging a bit through her purse, she pulls
  12.     out a PADD.

  17. 28   SLOAN (OPTICAL)

  19.     takes the PADD and looks it over.

  21.                     SLOAN
  22.             Thanks, muffin.
  23.                 (to Bashir)
  24.             Here you go, Doctor --

  26.     But just as Sloan offers Bashir the PADD, a PHASER
  27.     BOLT hits him in the back. Sloan goes down as
  28.     Jessica SCREAMS --

  30. 29   BASHIR AND O'BRIEN

  32.     look towards the door to see another SLOAN, this one
  33.     dressed in Section Thirty-one black, holding a
  34.     phaser.

  36.                     SLOAN
  37.             I'm sorry, doctor, but I can't
  38.             let you have that.

  40.     And with that, Sloan slips out the door.

  42. 30   ANOTHER ANGLE

  44.     as Bashir and O'Brien find themselves standing in an
  45.     empty Wardroom. Sloan, Jessica, the guests, and the
  46.     PADD with the cure are all gone.
