	Jessica opens her pocketbook, searching.

					JESSICA
			I know I have it somewhere.

	After rummaging a bit through her purse, she pulls
	out a PADD.

					JESSICA
			Here it is.

28   SLOAN (OPTICAL)

	takes the PADD and looks it over.

					SLOAN
			Thanks, muffin.
				(to Bashir)
			Here you go, Doctor --

	But just as Sloan offers Bashir the PADD, a PHASER
	BOLT hits him in the back. Sloan goes down as
	Jessica SCREAMS --

29   BASHIR AND O'BRIEN

	look towards the door to see another SLOAN, this one
	dressed in Section Thirty-one black, holding a
	phaser.

					SLOAN
			I'm sorry, doctor, but I can't
			let you have that.

	And with that, Sloan slips out the door.

30   ANOTHER ANGLE

	as Bashir and O'Brien find themselves standing in an
	empty Wardroom. Sloan, Jessica, the guests, and the
	PADD with the cure are all gone.

					O'BRIEN
			Julian...

					BASHIR
			Don't look at me for an
			explanation.
