  6.     A strange SOUND from behind them gets their
  7.     attention. They exchange puzzled looks, move to
  8.     investigate. Suddenly the SOUND again, from a
  9.     different part of the runabout. It's almost like
  10.     something is moving around behind the walls.
  11.  
  12.     The SOUND again, this time from near a VENT situated
  13.     near the back of the compartment.
  14.  
  15.     They move to it cautiously. As they lean close to
  16.     listen, a mass of changeling PROTOPLASM suddenly
  17.     SHOOTS from the vent.
  18.  
  19. 5    ODO AND O'BRIEN
  20.  
  21.     as they jump back, turn to look behind them.
  22.  
  23.                     ODO
  24.             A changeling.
  25.  
  26. 6    THE CHANGELING (OPTICAL)
  27.  
  28.     as it MORPHS into humanoid form. Although its face
  29.     is similar to Odo's in that its features are smooth
  30.     and somewhat ill-defined, it's modeled on a humanoid
  31.     species we've never seen before.
  32.  
  33.     It's definitely male, and we get the sense that he's a
  34.     bit more adept at mimicking faces than Odo, as his
  35.     features are more expressive. He wears alien-looking
  36.     CLOTHES that are more practical than decorative.
  37.  
  38.     O'Brien trains his weapon on him, but the
  39.     changeling's attention is fixed on Odo alone. Off
  40.     this moment, we...
