  6.     Despite O'Brien's reasonable tone, Patrick takes it 
  7.     hard -- his features crumple, and he starts to cry. 
  8.     O'Brien doesn't know what to make of it --

  10.                     O'BRIEN
  11.             I didn't mean to... it's just
  12.             that...
  13.  
  14.     As Patrick's sobs intensify, O'Brien looks over to 
  15.     Bashir --
  16.  
  17. 27D  RESUME SCENE 
  18.  
  19.     The MUSIC reaches its climax, and as it ends, Lauren 
  20.     twirls back onto the couch. Jack bows, thanking her 
  21.     for the dance. The music's absence allows Bashir to 
  22.     hear Patrick's muffled sobs. He looks over at O'Brien, 
  23.     who gives him a helpless shrug.
  24.  
  25.                     BASHIR
  26.                 (crossing over)
  27.             What did you do?
  28.  
  29.                     O'BRIEN
  30.             Nothing.
  31.  
  32.                     BASHIR
  33.                 (comforting him)
  34.             Patrick, what is it?
  35.  
  36.                     PATRICK
  37.             He doesn't like me.
  38.  
  39.     Bashir frowns at O'Brien --
  40.  
  41.                     O'BRIEN
  42.             Sure I do.
  43.  
  44.     Not knowing what else to do, O'Brien takes the hat and 
  45.     puts it on his head.
  46.  
  47.                     O'BRIEN
  48.             See?
  49.  
  50.     But he doesn't get the reaction he was hoping for --
