  10.     The head scanner cups his head again and he is no 
  11.     longer trembling. Kira, Jake, Kasidy and Admiral 
  12.     Whatley watch with concern.

  14.                     BASHIR
  15.                 (off readouts)
  16.             His entire central nervous system 
  17.             is depolarizing. We have to 
  18.             operate immediately.
  19.  
  20.                     WHATLEY
  21.             Then what are you waiting for?

  23.     Kira is as concerned as anyone about Sisko's well-
  24.     being, but she feels it's her duty to Sisko, both as 
  25.     her commanding officer and the Emissary, to make sure
  26.     his wishes are made known.
  27.  
  28.                     KIRA
  29.             Captain Sisko made it clear that 
  30.             he didn't want surgery.
  31.  
  32.                     KASIDY
  33.             What are you suggesting, Major? 
  34.             We stand around and let him die?
  35.  
  36.                     KIRA
  37.             No. But this isn't about what I 
  38.             want... or what you want. This is 
  39.             about Captain Sisko. And he told 
  40.             us he doesn't want anything to 
  41.             interfere with his visions.

  43.                     WHATLEY
  44.             Major, these visions may be 
  45.             important, but I think we're all 
  46.             in agreement here that they're not
  47.             as important as Captain Sisko's life.
  48.                 (to Bashir)
  49.             Start the procedure.
