  7.     REVEAL Sisko. He slumps against the door frame. He 
  8.     looks exhausted and in pain.

  10.     Kai Winn and Whatley move toward the Captain.

  13.             Emissary...
  14.  
  15.                     WHATLEY
  16.                 (turns to an aide)
  17.             Get him to the Infirmary.
  18.  
  19.     But Sisko shoves the aide away.
  20.  
  21.                     SISKO
  22.             No! I have to tell them.
  23.  
  24.                     WINN 
  25.             What is it, Emissary? Have the 
  26.             Prophets revealed something to 
  27.             you?

  29.     Sisko looks to Kai Winn and to the Admiral, and though 
  30.     he's in obvious pain, there's a clarity of purpose to 
  31.     him that cannot be denied.
  32.  
  33.                     SISKO
  34.             The locusts... they'll destroy 
  35.             Bajor... unless it stands alone.
  36.  
  37.     That gets the room buzzing.

  39.                     WHATLEY

  41.             Ben, what the hell are you talking 
  42.             about?

  44.                     SISKO
  45.             It's too soon. Bajor must not 
  46.             Join the Federation. If it does, 
  47.             it will be destroyed.

  49.     Everyone in the room is stunned by Sisko's words. A 
  50.     moment as this sinks in, and then he collapses to the
  51.     floor.
