  6.     staying to the course, calm and controlled while the 
  7.     ship SHAKES ever more VIOLENTLY.

  9.     The vibrating reaches a crescendo. Behind O'Brien, a 
  10.     console EXPLODES with a shower of SPARKS and Sisko is 
  11.     forced to make the inevitable decision.
  12.  
  13.                     SISKO
  14.             Disengage thrusters. Power down 
  15.             all systems.
  16.  
  17.     As the ship settles back and the VIBRATING stops, 
  18.     there's a moment of relative calm and quiet. It is a 
  19.     moment of undeniable defeat, made worse by ANOTHER 
  20.     EXPLOSION outside -- a grim reminder of their 
  21.     circumstances.
  22.  
  23.     After a beat, Sisko turns to O'Brien, who is examining 
  24.     the damaged console.
  25.  
  26.                     SISKO
  27.             How bad?
  28.  
  29.                     O'BRIEN
  30.                 (downcast)
  31.             The main power grid is completely 
  32.             fused and the structural integrity 
  33.             field has collapsed.
  34.  
  35.     But Sisko remains undeterred.
  36.  
  37.                     SISKO
  38.             We'll have to wait until the 
  39.             Defiant gets here. She can pull 
  40.             us out with her tractor beam. 
  41.             That gives us thirty-six hours to 
  42.             make repairs.
  43.  
  44.     Sisko grabs a tool.
  45.  
  46.                     SISKO
  47.             You all know what to do.
  48.  
  49.     The group breaks apart as they all move on to their 
  50.     tasks.
