  7.     Eddington may disagree with his captain, but he's too 
  8.     good an officer to show it. He shoves his disagreement 
  9.     aside and gives the Starfleet answer.

  11.                     EDDINGTON
  12.             No, sir.

  14.                     SISKO
  15.             Good. Now, get down to the 
  16.             Defiant and tell Worf he has a 
  17.             change of orders.
  18.                 (beat)
  19.             I want you to follow the Xhosa.
  20.  
  21.                     EDDINGTON
  22.                 (a little surprised)
  23.             Aye, sir.
  24.                 (beat)
  25.             What are our orders if we observe 
  26.             Captain Yates meeting a Maquis 
  27.             ship?

  29.     Sisko thinks about this with a grim expression for a 
  30.     moment.
  31.  
  32.                     SISKO
  33.             For now, your orders are to 
  34.             observe and then report back to 
  35.             me. Is that clear?
  36.  
  37.                      EDDINGTON
  38.             Perfectly.
  39.  
  40.     Eddington turns and EXITS, leaving a disturbed and grim-
  41.     faced Sisko.

  43.                                     CUT TO:
  44.  
  45. 16   INT. TURBOLIFT 
  46.  
  47.     Garak is in the lift (which is MOVING) with Two N.D.s. 
  48.     The lift STOPS and the doors OPEN. Two more N.D.s and 
  49.     Ziyal ENTER. The newcomers hit the control pad on the 
  50.     bulkhead to choose a level and then the lift starts 
  51.     MOVING. As the lift moves, Ziyal can't help but glance 
  52.     over at Garak... he senses the glance, but doesn't 
  53.     return it. Finally the lift STOPS again, and everyone 
  54.     except Garak and Ziyal EXIT. The doors CLOSE and the 
  55.     lift begins MOVING.
  56.  
  57.     Ziyal turns and faces Garak warily, staying as far away 
  58.     from him as is possible in the lift. Garak watches her 
  59.     calmly and the two of them eye each other for a long, 
  60.     tense moment.
