  9.     Quark is lying on the examining table, hooked up to all
  10.     sorts of medical equipment. Rom ENTERS and looks at
  11.     his brother, aghast. Quark notices his brother
  12.     watching at him.
  13.  
  14.                     QUARK
  15.             I thought I wasn't allowed to have
  16.             visitors.
  17.  
  18.                     ROM
  19.             Doctor Bashir made an exception.
  20.                 (a small smile)
  21.             He said you were almost killed.
  22.  
  23.     Quark realizes Rom's taking a little perverse pleasure
  24.     in his plight.
  25.  
  26.                     QUARK
  27.             It's nothing to smile about.
  28.             Those Nausicaans shattered my left
  29.             eye socket, broke two of my
  30.             ascending ribs and punctured my
  31.             lower lung. If Odo hadn't come
  32.             along when he did...

  35.             Does it hurt?
