  6.     Close on one of the doors.  We hear the sound of a phaser 
  7.     beam cutting through metal.  The sound stops, then the doors 
  8.     are slowly pried open by Garak.  Garak peers into Ops.
  9.  
  10.                     GARAK
  11.             Anyone home?
  12.  
  13.     There's no response, but Garak reacts to what he sees off-
  14.     screen with mild surprise.  He pries the doors open the rest 
  15.     of the way, and then reaches into the hall and help Bashir 
  16.     hobble in.  Bashir looks about a hundred years old.  He looks 
  17.     around at Ops.
  18.  
  19. 57   NEW ANGLE - BASHIR'S P.O.V.
  20.  
  21.     Ops is festooned with streamers and party balloons.  There's 
  22.     a big "Happy Birthday!" banner hanging across the door to 
  23.     Sisko's office.
  24.  
  25.     TWO DABO GIRLS appear at either side of the doorway.  They 
  26.     take hold of Bashir.
  27.  
  28.                     DABO GIRL #1
  29.             Surprise!
  30.  
  31.     One of them puts a party hat on his head, the other gives 
  32.     him a noise maker.
  33.  
  34.                     BASHIR
  35.             What's all this?
  36.  
  37.     Dabo Girl #1 launches into "Happy Birthday."
  38.  
  39.     Bashir looks over at Garak, who smiles and toots a noisemaker.  
  40.     Garak joins in for the final few lines of "Happy Birthday."

  43.                 (singing)
  44.             "Happy Birthday, Dear Julian... "
  45.  
  46.     GARAK AND DABO GIRL #1

  48.                     (SINGING TOGETHER)
  49.             "Happy Birthday to you."

  52.                 (singing, alone)
  53.             "And many more."
