  9.             gone into his eye?  Do you realize 
  10.             I'd be liable for that?  Do you know 
  11.             how much money an eye costs?

  13.                     O'BRIEN
  14.             You're not supposed to throw them 
  15.             like that, Quark.

  17.     He takes another dart off the table.
  18.  
  19.                     O'BRIEN
  20.             You throw them one at a time... 
  21.             gently.  Like this.

  23.     He takes careful aim at the board... and as the dart leaves 
  24.     his hand, we suddenly...

  26.                                     CUT TO:

  28. 8    INT. PROMENADE - SECOND LEVEL

  30.     O'Brien is standing on the second level in the exact same 
  31.     pose we just left him.  He looks around, confused at this 
  32.     sudden change of setting.  Although O'Brien doesn't realize 
  33.     it yet, he has just jumped five hours into the future.

  35.     Before O'Brien can fully realize what's going on, he hears 
  36.     Quark's voice from off camera:

  38.                     QUARK'S VOICE
  39.             Chief O'Brien?
  40.  
  41.     O'Brien turns and reacts in shock to what he sees --

  43. 9    NEW ANGLE

  45.     Across the Promenade, Quark has just stopped another O'Brien.  
  46.     Neither this Future O'Brien nor Quark has seen the other 
  47.     Past O'Brien standing across the Promenade yet.

  49.                     QUARK
  50.                 (to Future O'Brien)
  51.             The Klingons have destroyed two of 
  52.             my holosuites.  I need a maintenance 
  53.             crew immediately.

  55.     Future O'Brien looks annoyed... this is a familiar story.
